BOEREWORS IN A BLANKET

Ingredients

8-10 pieces of Boerewors (6cm)
170ml flour
1 egg
170ml milk
1,25ml salt
250ml oil
pinch of mixed herbs
pinch of parsley

Directions

1. Heat the oil and fry the Boerewors pieces until cooked and drain. Set aside.
2. Mix the egg, milk and the flour thoroughly and season.
Allow to stand for 20 minutes.
3. Dip the cooked Boerewors pieces in the batter and fry in the oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
4. Serve with creamed or mashed potatoes and fresh garden peas.
